Want to experience Joburg with me? #NissanMagic
October 7, 2015

The folks at Nissan have asked be to be a #NissanMagic #RandomActsofKindness (RAK) ambassador for the month of October. This involves me doing some epic stuff giving back to my community. Nissan has asked me to pick my cause and through my networks and support from Nissan, will make a  difference.

As a tourism activist, Joburg ambassador and arts and culture fanatic, I’ve decided to host 3 young, enthusiastic tourism students who’d like to experience my Jozi.

My aim is to inspire young people to explore the city and appreciate it’s arts, culture, and heritage offering. Nissan also loaned me a super cool Nissan Qashqai to drive this month, which will take us to all the inner city hidden gems that Jozi has to offer.

This will involve experiencing some of my favourite places in inner city Joburg – Braamfontein, Maboneng, Constitutional Hill, an inner city graffiti walk, local markets and a few surprises too! We might even take a sho’t left along the way!

Experience Jozi with MzansiGirl

I’m looking for 3 Gauteng-based travel and tourism students between the ages of 18 – 24 to have a one-of-a-kind curated city experience with me. The experience will take place on the weekend of 23 – 24 October and all expenses will be covered. Know anyone who fits the profile?

Here’s how to enter:

  • Send out a tweet / or instagram saying “I want to experience Jozi with @Mzansigirl  #NissanMagic “ with a pic of your favourite Jozi attraction!
  • To stand a better chance leave a comment below telling me why I should choose you!

Please feel free to share on your social networks!

I’ll also be doing some other cool RAK’s during the month, so feel free to check out the #NissanMagic hashtag for more info!

I am an up and coming Gauteng tour guide, this would be a great opportunity for me to experience and explore Joburg, very much passionate about SA Tourism, I would really appreciate your consideration :).

  • My passion for the tourism industry has helped me through 3 years of college and into a great internship, i am always looking for the next thing, always eager to discover more and to be the one introducing my friends to the hidden cracks of quality fun and entertainment in the jungle that is Gauteng. I really do take pride in being that guy, “He took us to this new joint and it blew our minds away”. This opportunity that you are providing is a great chance for me to find more attractions, meet and network with new people with similar passions and forge lasting bonds that could lead to so many new avenues being opened up in a lot of peoples lives. Thank you for this platform and taking your time to take me into consideration.

My passion for tourism started at a young age..with my dad transporting people and giving me the opportunity to travel with, and since then I’ve been hooked. Completing my honours degree this year, has just added the theoretical aspects to my passion. Growing up in jozi you take for granded all the amazing things it has to offer, but I love my city and all it offers- there’s always alittle adventureg and I’d love the opportunity to expierence your Jozi @MzansiGirl. Thank you for this amazing opportunity and I hope you take me into consideration.

    Kind regards,
