MySchool #Vote4Charity: I voted for Cotlands!
June 6, 2018

I’ve had a great relationship with MySchool over the years, sharing the amazing fundraising work they do.  I love that MySchool makes it so easy to support causes that I am passionate about, from rhino conservation to  community charities

#Vote4Charity campaign

Vote4Charity is  another great way that MySchool is making it easy to give back to charities big and small. Vote4Charity is an online voting campaign where South Africans can vote for their favourite MyVillage or MyPlanet beneficiary.

Each vote the beneficiary receives means R5 going directly to that beneficiaryIn total, MySchool will be giving up to R1 million to charities during that time.

How to vote for your favourite cause

From the 18th May to 18th June 2018, the Vote4Charity polls are open at www.myschool.co.za/vote4charity. All MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet cardholders need to do is go online and cast one vote for the cause that matters to them most. If you’re not yet a supporter you can sign up instantly for free.

Each and every vote counts as R5 donation, and sharing your vote across your social media profiles doubles the value to the organisation you care about. PLUS 5 lucky voters could win a  R5000 Woolies gift card , just for voting!

Vote4Charity will also support each of the three charities with the most votes by funding the R25 000 production of a professional promotional video.

“Vote4Charity is yet another way that the programme is empowering South Africans to make a direct impact for the causes and communities they care about most…The best part is that is doesn’t cost them a cent, and they get to choose who they want to support. We believe that innovative campaigns such as this help to bring our customers closer to the organisations that are working tirelessly for a better South Africa.”
Helene Brand, MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet’s CSI Manager

I voted for Cotlands

With hundreds of charities and environmental organisations to choose from, it wasn’t easy deciding which charity to cast my vote for. A few years back a friend donate her birthday to Cotlands. She hosted a party for the kids from one of the Cotland’s homes and she encouraged guests to bring donations or presents for the kids.  It was incredibly moving, what better way to spend your birthday than by giving! I was so inspired by the work Cotlands is doing with young children.
